Gartner, the leading provider of research and analysis on the global information technology industry, positions Nortel in the Leader’s quadrant of its Corporate Telephony in North America Magic Quadrant report, published August 8, 2007 and authored by Jay Lassman and Rich Costello.
The Magic Quadrant report positions vendors in one of four quadrants, based on a company’s vision and ability to execute that vision. According the report, “Market leaders demonstrate strength and can affect market trends in all criteria on which they are evaluated. Leaders tend to have a broader geographical coverage, which is important for enabling pan-American companies to consolidate their telephony suppliers.”
